6 2 volleyball rotation with libero. If a team get s stuck in a rotation they can change their formation so the other setter can set. The position was added to the game of indoor volleyball in 1999 along with a set of special rules for play in order to foster more digs and rallies and to make the game more exciting overall. Because of this flexibility and the fact that you always have 3 attackers attacking on the front row the 6 2 is probably the most common offensive system in volleyball.

This means there are 6 hitters players and 2 setters. For example in a 6 2 volleyball offense a team has 2 setters and 6 hitters. A libero is a defensive specialist position in indoor volleyball. The two most important skills in the game of volleyball are ball control serve receive and serving.

The other setter s2 or a hitter if replaced plays in the left front position. There are always three available hitters in the front row. The 6 2 volleyball rotation is an excellent choice for offensively inclined teams that have two very good setters.
